2025 Faranhyll Committees (Draft description)
Quote from Debbie Fifer on May 13, 2025, 10:07 amHere is a draft of the organization of our new committee system, as discussed at the May 3rd HOA meeting. We formed four committees:Committee number one, known as the Road Committee will be responsible for maintaining the road and organizing snowplowing. The current members are Randy and Lynn. Bruce will send his road contacts to this committee.Committee number two, known as Mailbox, South Gate, and Barn Committee will finalize the creation of a new mailbox system at the South Gate as well as implement it's construction. In addition, the committee will work on maintenance of the South Gate, such as repairs, painting, and the necessary landscaping after the mailboxes are installed. This committee will also work on needed repairs and/or new improvements to the Barn. The current members will be Tony and Bruce.Committee number three, known as Water and AVLT Committee, will work on the field irrigation, ditch maintenance and any dealings with the AVLT. I’m assuming that in the future, the fertilization and herbicide for the fields will be overseen by this committee. The current members are Scott and Jenn.Committee Number Four, known as the Trails Committee will work on trail maintenance such as widening and weed spraying as well as weed spraying on the roadside edges of the main Faranhyll Ranch Road.According to my notes, the areas that were not assigned to a committee were creation of a schedule of maintenance for the above areas, the fencing, and any dumpster area problems. Please review and let me know if I should tweak any of the above descriptions. If we want to go with this system, we could vote on Saturday, at the Barn? I wasn’t sure if we are still having an impromptu meeting that day?Debbie

Quote from Randy Schrock on May 23, 2025, 3:39 pmThanks for this Debbie, very helpful. I did talk to Ray today about the Trails Committee, work that needs to be coordinated/scheduled, and a product to kill the vegetation along the Ranch Road. He mentioned he was going to reach out to both you and Bruce.
NOTE: The Bruce conversation relates to using his equipment for trail maintenance.
